Brigitte Bistro

I truly loved the food here. Everything was cooked with care and tasted special. You could taste individual ingredients in the dishes. This is one of those rare restaurants that is great, and happens to be in the Hudson Valley, but it would be just as great in NYC, Paris, and I'm the Hudson Valley. Service slows down when there is a crowd, but that's also a good opportunity to take it all in. Inside it's cozy and the decoration transports you somewhere else, probably in France. The owner is very warm and clearly cares about the customers

Delicious food. One special was short ribs of beef and I hope to have it again. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The kitchen is open and you can stop and speak with the chef if you like. (I like to). Some of the food is cooked to order so it may take a while. The chef took over from the previous owner of a while ago, maybe 2 or 3 years ago. I wouldn't give credence to reviews that were before that time. The former owner was not a pleasant person, and after dining there once I was not planning on going back.

Me and my wife were in the area on a vacation and picked this place on a whim, and it was a delightful experience. Very cute intimate place with truly great food, we both had the specials and both was excellent. We also had desserts and they were both unique, delicious and made from scratch. Perfect place when you want a really nice romantic dinner to round off the evening.

Charming and cozy French restaurant offering very high-quality French cuisine, at fair prices a few miles north of Rhinebeck in Red Hook. Truly a hidden gem in Hudson Valley. We dined on 9/29. My wife and I had the Ceasar Salad, and Escargo. Both very well executed. I had the house special Beef Bourguignon, which was fabulous and extremely tender. The essence of French comfort food. My wife had the Magret De Canard. The braised endive, Pistachio, Cherry sauce made the dish memorable. For desert, we had the very tasty Apple crepe with home made ice cream. We visit the Hudson Valley from Philly every fall. We will certainly make the Brigitte Bistro a dining spot we will visit during our annual trip.

This place is an amazing restaurant. We had some dietary restrictions ( vegetarian) & chef Randi was incredible. He has such great experience as he’s worked with the top chefs in the country. Very creative & super nice. Also the martinis maybe the best in the area!!!
