Cancun Mexican Restaurant and Grill

My “chorizo tacos” 97% shell, 2 % chorizo, 1% onions and cilantro. Also ordered beef and cheese nachos with jalapeños, didn’t get ANY jalapeños! I also tipped for this to go order… Merry Christmas to me! Edited - they redeemed themselves!!

We came for lunch today and the food was delicious! Salsa was my favorite that has cilantro and onion in it. Had the Pollo en la Playa which is chicken and shrimp covered in cheese dip with rice and salad. Really delicious. Ordered a street taco off the main menu just because I wanted to know what it was like. Larger than I expected and also delicious! Would definitely come back!

It was great the first time I ate here about 2 months ago. Sadly this time was not great. Waited at the door for a good 7 minutes behind a family with a new baby. For around 7 minutes. Then the chips where to oily maybe not sure. They stuck to my teeth in a way I have never had happen. How ever the food it's self was great. The rice was soo good. I ordered chili Chili Poblano and my boyfriend ordered a burrito. The rice with his burrito was the best rice I have ever eattten. Mine was good buy his was better. So in all I would say that as long as you can be patient..you can enjoy yourself a delightful meal.

Cool place! It was stacked on a Monday night — turns out Monday is $1.50 taco night. Super slammed but we were sat in prolly 15 mins. The food was great! Fairly standard tex med fare but it was all good, the tacos, rice, beans, chips, and salsa were all enjoyable. I also got a steak street taco and it was better than expected — steak was well seasoned and tender! Service was great despite the chaos, overall really enjoyed our time here.

This is our go to spot for Mexican food in the area! The food is always comes out hot and delicious and the quality is better than most other Mexican restaurants around town. The friendly staff and owner just add to to overall experience and keep us coming back regularly!! Don't be shy to venture from some of the traditional items either, as the wraps and wings here are very delicious also!!
