Campesino Organic Coffee

I am not an Americus resident, and this was my first visit to this coffee shop. The open sign was illuminated when I arrived. I placed my order, and was shown to the coffee bar to dispense my coffee. I sat at the bar to enjoy my drink, but within five minutes, a worker passed behind me, instructed me that the store was closed, and opened the door in an unspoken instruction to leave. This action would be understandable if my cup was empty as I mooched off their WIFI, but only an inch of my coffee had been consumed. Had I been told that the closing time was close, I would not have made my purchase, or I would have left with my purchase to my car to consume. The coffee was in itself quite enjoyable, but I have no plans to return to this shop.

In 2000, while visiting my daughter at Univ. of West Georgia in Carrollton GA, we went out for dinner at ‘Plates’. The meal was very good so I ordered a cup of coffee to end the delicious meal. Wow! That coffee was So good, I asked for the address. Now, for 25 years, I’ve only ordered this wonderful coffee {mmm… satisfying coffee to have at home!} Since that first cup~ wherever I lived~[Statesboro, GA— Decatur, GA, Massachusetts, Gainesville, FL, & Tallahassee, FL] Cafe Campesino was in my cup. My personal favorites are Colombia and Guatemala, but they have many different varieties from—Latin American to Africa—to soothe anyone’s taste. I truly love this roastery. They source high quality beans from small farmer co ops and roast them to showcase what is unique in each bean. They are also amazing to work with.

Ive been drinking this coffee for 20 years. These guys are incredible and do an amazing job. They really care about what they do and produce and it shows.
