They don’t speak a lick of English but DAMN do they know they way around a kitchen and plate. Pulled up otw home from out the city. I have an hour drive and I do not feel like I’ll have the bandwidth to cook tonight. Got half chicken with two sides and MAAM, Abuela in the back knows how to throw together an amazing dinner. No excessive wait, efficiency and a good meal. It’s now the go to when I don’t feel like cooking

Went on a walk with my wife and baby up Carrol Ave, and we stopped in to use the bathroom. This place is advertised as a bakery and grilled chicken. Before we even stepped foot inside we could smell the mouthwatering aroma of grilled chicken! Since we only stopped into use the bathroom, I wanted to buy a snack. At $2.50 each, a couple tamales is what I ordered. There was a really sweet lady who greeted me, took my order, packed up my tamales, and settled the bill. The food is setup hot bar style a la Panda Express. So, you can see what you're getting before you order. All the food looks amazing. I’ve been to the restaurant a few times and I have gotten over 10 different items and each one has not disappointed. I love how fresh the food is it’s always delicious and how the kitchen is front facing which is nice to see all the food before your eyes. Veryyy unsanitary! DO NOT EAT HERE. I ordered a stake and cheese one day just to see the cook in the back touching the meat and cheeses with her bare hands! Sooo disgusting. She even touched the fridge to get the bread bun out and touched that with her bare hands too! You can see the cook touching everything ! Just nasty.
