Campbell County Public Library

We really enjoyed this library. For a smaller town , we were really excited to see such a great space for kids. This library is conveniently located not far from the Lynchburg thousand trails RV campground as well as food lion for groceries. The staff seemed kind, the locals were very friendly, the bathrooms were clean , the kids had plenty to do and they even have snacks for sale. There was ipads with learning games, AbC mouse , cut reading books with bean bags, tables for studying, copy area, great selection of books, play kitchen, Legos (have to ask for them) and great info for the local area calendar. The only critique I could give, would be more seating for adults in the children's area. Other than that , we enjoyed the bean bags !

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They have book sales and other events. The library is always clean.

A good space to get work done. The place is clean and it is so good to see kids still coming and going from the library. I am so encouraged when I see younger children getting excited about checking out a physical book. I do the electronic version myself these days but so many good memories around sitting at the library reading and then checking out as many books as possible to keep me busy until the next time I could visit. Now I like to take my laptop and work from the library to save me a long trip into my office in Roanoke whenever I can. It doesn't happen often but sometimes I can work virtual.
