An elevated dinning experience in the heart of wine country that treats you like family returning home. The staff were kind and welcoming with attentive, friendly service. We wanted to taste a bit of everything and they delivered no questions asked. All of the food was spectacular and you could taste the warmth and methodical planning the chef puts into every plate. Will 100% be coming back here. Well worth the 1 hour drive outside of Portland.
Absolutely wonderful food that reminded us of our favorite dishes from our trip to Mazatlán! The staff were so kind and hospitable as well. Love love loved the food, definitely worth the trip! Could not recommend more!
A MUST VISIT!! 🏆 We live in Portland and took a day trip to the Dayton area. Camino had great reviews so we planned to try it for lunch. So glad we did! AMAZING FOOD! AMAZING SERVICE! Overall great experience! Definitely make it a point to visit for authentic Mexican food that’s somehow even better than anything else we’ve had 🤯 fresh ingredients, unexpected culinary details (the arugula! the mushrooms! the coffee!). Just go. You will be happy you did.
This is a true gem of a place. Brand new in Dayton. But, their cuisine reflects many years of experience. The flavors are intricately beautiful. The Huevos rancheros was the best I have had. Layers of flavor in each bite. The breakfast burrito was wonderful, full of egg, potato, meat; well seasoned. We finished off with their flan, which was complimentary today, it was superb!!
Another reviewer called this "An elevated dining experience in the heart of wine country". 100% true if food is not part of that calculation. If you're on a wine tour and you want something pretty, palatable, and unlikely to challenge your bowels, Camino has you covered. If you expect Mexican food, it does not. I understand what they're going for and the execution is top-notch. They're very specifically catering to the tastes of folks who have the blandest of palates. If this describes you, go for it.
