Camilla Police Department

Camilla Georgia put on a firework show that was awesome. Open to the public. Unfortunately they did not have any restroom facilities available for people visiting. And watching the fireworks. Thank goodness we were close to the Camilla police department and the Camilla Fire Department. And they graciously let us use the restroom facilities. Especially since I have my elderly parents with me in their 80s. I could have been in an absolute mess otherwise 🙃

We live in southwest Miller county bordering the Florida line and Seminole county. The road by our house had downed trees and power lines.from hurricane Michael. My son lives down the road from us and he was busy Thursday morning trying to cut tree branches so you could get to his house. A very nice black man stopped to help him. He even had a chainsaw and went straight to work. We didn't get his name but he said he was a policeman in Camilla.We wanted you to know that we appreciated his help and that Camilla hasa fine policeman in this nice man. Thank you.
