Camellia Inn

Had a lovely 4 night stay at the Camellia Inn in December. It was a wonderful base for exploring the town on foot, as well as exploring the country side - hiking, wineries, and the coast. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was delicious (they even made us a special one for our early check out and left it in the fridge for us to grab), and the atmosphere was truly charming!

This was my 2nd visit to Healdsburg, this time with a group of friends. Camellia Inn was the perfect home base for exploring Healdsburg’s wineries, redwood park and lovely “downtown,” which is just 1-2 blocks away and easy walk. Kiki, Mia and the team at Camellia are super hospitable, from the helpful pre-stay communications to making sure our group had a reserved table so we could sit together for daily breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Two-course breakfasts were delicious. I especially loved the lemon-scented yogurts with fresh fruit, homemade granola and roasted hazelnuts. Highly recommend this charming B&B, and would certainly stay there again on my next visit.

excellent location, delicious breakfast and free tasting at the excellent Wilson Family wineries. Walking distance from the square and The Rockpile winery which is one of the best wineries in the area. Our host was Mia who assisted us with everything- Check-in, breakfast, and basically everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Having visited this inn a few times in the past, we were greatly disappointed that they are not maintaining the property. Our room had an upholstered chair that looked as if a dog had chewed on the arm a few times (@ 10 inches were exposed to foam and wood). The windows were dirty. The sheets had holes in them. The sink had rust and mold circling the overflow drain. The Inn no longer served a buffet breakfast; instead it was served individually. The food was tasty. The wine hour in the afternoon was just 2 bottles of wine stuck in a bucket. The Inn is located in a wonderful area close to the downtown square and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately we will not be returning. For the price there are nicer accommodations in the Healdsburg area.

We enjoyed 3 nights at the Camellia Inn while attending a Wilson Winery Harvest weekend. Both were very awesome!! We have stayed once at the Camellia Inn so had a good experience but this time we had a different room, which was better. It's a very old building which we heard at one time served as the Healdsburg Hospital.|The cookies in the afternoon are awesome, there's wine being served and a great breakfast each morning.|Only takes about 5 minute to walk into downtown Healdsburg so a great location!!
