Callie Opie's Orchard Restaurant

Stopped in tonight for half price burger night. I was not disappointed.I had the BBQ burger and it was delicious..Very generous burger and perfect toppings. Also came with a side of fries which were delicious as well..The sweet iced tea was just right and a perfect compliment to a most enjoyable meal. Our server was Katelynn and she was above excellent. Definitely worth the trip and look forward to another visit.

I captured a wedding at Callie Opie's Orchard in September and really enjoyed the venue. There were neat aspects like LOVE painted in red on the side of the barn. That's one of my favorite pictures from there! There was a pond with a fountain behind the ceremony area which added to the beautiful scenery and there were so many great spots for photos. The venue staff was friendly and helpful, too!

We came here with high expectations based on reviews and what we heard around Lake Anna. It was quite disappointing. We started with the equivalent of bang bang shrimp, which was decent but poorly presented. I then ordered a rack for ribs, which were overcooked and very dry, although with a decent flavor. My wife had a salad that looks like one you'd pour out of a bag you bought at the grocery store. My daughter had spaghetti marinara that she wouldn't eat because the noodles were too mushy (overcooked) and the sauce tasted "weird" (I couldn't get any more on that). The restaurant itself was lovely and the service was good. Unfortunately, as one of the highest rated restaurants in the area, this just didn't live up to what we had hoped.

Came for brunch with such high hopes because of the reviews, but left disappointed! Came in and there were only 2 tables with customers with another being seated. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful!! Our Waiter “Alex” came to our table immediately, was friendly and took our drink orders. The sweet tea tasted like It had lemon in it and when we ordered a chocolate milk to replace it there was hardly any chocolate in it? Basically just tinted milk. Food: “Country Benedict” (biscuits topped with Fried Chicken, scrambled eggs and sausage gravy w/grits) and “Callie’s Breakfast Platter” (French toast, scrambled eggs w/cheese, potatoes, and bacon). 30-45 mins later our food arrived?
