Been wanting to try this spot after walking past the construction work going on. They just recently opened up and I was able to grab some to go. I got the Chicken Rice bowl with the Hello Bombay sauce. The sauce is sweet, but it’s more savory than anything. Price: $17, $18.65 with tax. It’s in relative price range for the area. Portion: A good portion, I always say add more meat Taste: Really good, if you can’t handle spice, do it mild. I did it medium and it had me wanting it. Notes: Yogurt would amp this dish up and make it real nice.

When Cali Tandoori burned down a year or two ago it broke my heart. These kind of family owned establishments are what make Palms & Culver such a wonderful place to live. I watched eagerly as they constructed the new space out of the ashes of the old-and man have they done a beautiful job. From the atmosphere to presentation and the quality of the food, you will not be disappointed. Cali Saga is putting a lot of thought into this new restaurant and it shows. If you like spicy, you’ll love it and if you don’t like spicy they are very thoughtful and considerate to make it not spicy at all if you so choose. I got the Lamb with the hello Bombay and it was delicious on a beautiful sunny winter day. Please support this very thoughtful new local business as they open up their new spot!

The best and most flavorful Indian on this side of town. When I said spicy they actually gave me spicy! Also this is very authentic tasting, like my family cooks like this. It’s very comforting and flavorful.
