Café Intermezzo - Avalon

We stopped in for a quick brunch on a rainy day after ring shopping together. It was cute and felt very quaint. The food was really delicious and just yummy Italian comfort food. The details in the restaurant are so so sweet and create a great atmosphere

I try to eat very clean, grain and gluten free, no carbs. I ordered two poached eggs which were small okay for about $5 and smashed avocado. The word "smashed" to me sounded like fresh avocado but it didn't taste fresh and didn't taste good. The sauce they gave me (since they didn't have salsa or Pico) just tasted mostly like black pepper also didn't taste very good. The small cup of latte looked beautiful with a milky heart on top and tasted good as well (I asked for no added sugar). The waiter was very nice and polite and did all she was supposed to. The rooms were cute, tables very small and perfect for 2 people for conversation, decor nice.

Excellent small joint in Avalon. Very good Tiramisu and coffee. That’s all we tried. We saw that they serve alcohol too. Tiramisu was not too sweet, so we could really enjoy it. One order of coffee was like an unlimited serving. Staff are very courteous and professional. This is a small place with limited seating, but you will have a great experience.

Cafe Intermezzo is a delightful gem that transports you straight to a Parisian café. I've been coming here for years, and it never fails to impress. The food is always delicious, and the ambiance is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and attentive, making every visit a pleasure. It's a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a taste of Paris! Highly recommend!

Great little italian restaurant in Avalon. We came in a Friday night and did not wait to be seated because went straight to the bar. We ordered a very delicious sandwich with a salad and the espresso martini drink was amazing. The service also was top notch. Highly recommended!!
