Café Chew

Wow! I've come here a few times for a lunch sandwich or salad, but this was my first breakfast experience and it didn't disappoint in the least! I cannot get over how good their German breakfast sandwich was! I can honestly I never would have thought of doing breakfast on a pretzel, and I'm sad this was a first because it was THAT good! Also, I must say picking a breakfast item was super hard because the entire menu is just top notch. Their coffees are so delicious too! It was hard to pick hot or iced, so I may have gotten one of each. Oops! I do not regret this choice at all! I also had to take some of their freshly baked items home for the remainder of the week. Great service. Fantastic coffee. Quaint and cozy interior. And the food has always been exceptional. Especially this Rodger Dodger. Get the egg over easy for a truly delicious meal. This has been a favorite spot for years, but this sandwich was so good, I had to write a review.

Love Cafe chew, always have a great experience. From the moment I walk in I am greeted by the friendliest, most helpful waitstaff. The new owners are always so kind and have done a great job maintaining this well loved small town business. The bahn mi is incredible, my mom goes for the Reuben which was also amazing (of course I had to try it). Other favorites include the cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich, Cali BLT and poached pear salad- OMG 🤤 now if only they'd open a shop in Wareham so I wouldn't have to drive over the bridge for my favorite cafe! But it always makes for a great day trip! Highly recommend!!

The food and service was very good. Sandwiches are fresh and healthy ingredients. Do not skip desserts, I had a toffee cookie and it was amazing. It got real busy around 12:15 and it was raining. We were lucky to get a seat. They have a little outdoor seating for nice days.

When looking for a place to eat lunch in Sandwich, we came across this place. When we walked in, it was bustling, and we could tell it was going to be good! We ordered food at the counter and then it’s delivered to you by calling out your name when ready. They had gluten free bread available for any sandwich. Both of our sandwiches were delicious. They came served with Cape Cod chips.
