Caffè Gelato Bertini

This place is a gem 💎… wow!! I am so happy it’s reopened at the new location. This was my first experience and it was a great one. Firstly, the gelato is A+++ (creamy, great variety of flavors, fresh) and the inside is just so charming. Clean. Immaculate!!! Friendly owner who let us sample without making us feel rushed. I cannot wait to go back to try the affogato one morning. If you want a wonderful ice cream experience on Cape Cod that is different than the rest - definitely try this spot.

We come back here every year, and it’s a big draw for us and our family’s cape vacations! We request our favorite flavors on the first day we arrive, and they are almost always kind enough to accommodate! Apricot ricotta, strawberry and so many other amazing flavors! Their old location was way more charming, but am happy they have a rest room in the new one!

I cannot recommend Caffe Gelato Bertini enough! They recently catered for my baby shower, and they went above and beyond to make it special. Leading up to the event, they were very communicative and answered all my questions about flavors, quantity, add-ons, etc. On the day of, everything went so smoothly and the set up was beautiful. The gelato was a huge hit and added such a fun element to the day. It was a pleasure working with Patricia and Peta!

After a long day at the beach, we stopped at this cute caffe for a gelato on our way home... and to our surprise, it’s one of the best gelato in MA! The owners were so friendly and nice, and the flavors they have are pretty endless. If I lived closer, I would be there everyday!

Usually, I find google reviews reliable but sadly, not here. 7 of us tried several different flavors but unanimously disliked this gelato (ie ice cream with more milk made differently, etc.) when we went the other night and we were all very disappointed given the glowing reviews. It was so average that most of us did not finish it. I want to give it 2-stars but we just didn’t think it was good. It can’t be good when almost everyone prefers to throw away our ice cream rather than finish it, right? I say conclusively and without hesitation, just go somewhere else. 😞 Maybe ownership or recipes changed and we couldn’t totally out our finger on it but heavily suspect they don’t use the highest quality milk and sweeteners and are using various flavorings much more than the actual items from
