Cafe Zupas

Cafe Zupas has opened a new location on Fort Apache Road. As soon as we walked in, we had a great experience. The space is very open and parking is plentiful and not cramped. Everyone working there was very nice and friendly, especially the store manager. She is very friendly and welcoming. We really like Cafe Zupas and their healthy food. It's not just like every other fast food type of place. Really enjoy the menu, perfect selections of various freshly mixed salads, fresh soups, and made to order delicious sandwiches. Fresh and delicious food served by very friendly people. The staff is always welcoming and attentive. They use fresh ingredients and it makes the difference, plus it's pretty inexpensive for the quality that you get. I always get the choose two, such a great deal! Also t

I’m a Cafe Zupas lover but this was a miss. We attended the opening day festivities. Upon entering, the staff was welcoming. The food was a miss. I ordered the Strawberry Harvest Salad. The chicken was still partially frozen. Very little dressing was added. The sandwiches were good but seemed less filling than usual. Very little ingredients. As we ate, small bugs were flying around our food and table. We mentioned our disappointment to one of the employees, and she said she would let her manager know, took our plates and walked away. No one came to our table. I was very disappointed in the experience. I understand it’s the opening week. I hope management can get it under control.

We’ve been to the new Zupas on Fort Apache twice in the past week, and I really wanted to love it, but it’s been a mixed experience. The staff has been consistently friendly, welcoming, and kind both visits. You can tell they’re trying, and I genuinely appreciate that. Unfortunately, the food hasn’t matched that level of service. On our first visit, I ordered the Green Goddess bowl. When I got home, it was missing the chicken, and the brown rice was so undercooked it was hard as a rock. It actually hurt my teeth trying to eat it. The soup we got was also just lukewarm, which raised some food safety concerns. Stopped by this new location and it’s beautiful. The entire visit was great and my usual sandwich I get at their other location, was made perfect. Thanks will be back for sure!
