Cafe Nitido

If you’re looking for great food and an amazing atmosphere, this restaurant truly has it all. The owner is incredibly friendly and polite, which makes the experience even better. The food is outstanding—I had the churrasco mofongo, and it was absolutely delicious! My wife and kids loved the place so much that we’ve already committed to coming back and trying everything on the menu.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Nitido on several occasions and each time it’s delicious!!! The food is delicious, authentic with just enough flavor and the Menu is sooooo inviting. Friday nights are a blast with live music. The portions are healthy and their Mofongo is top tier and not dry!!!! Desserts are delicious as well. But most importantly, the service is amazing. Everyone is so nice, helpful and always with a smile. I look forward to my next time. I gotta try brunch!!!!

I arrived around 7PM on a Friday and watched the restaurant go from just a few tables to completely packed in a short time. Seeing the chef and staff handle that kind of rush was impressive, they kept everything running smoothly while still delivering great service and an enjoyable experience. This place is more than just a restaurant, it’s a cultural experience. From the music and atmosphere to the hospitality and the food, everything brings the energy and flavor of the Dominican Republic. It’s rare to find an authentic Dominican restaurant in South Jersey that delivers both incredible food and a vibrant ambiance like this. Went on a lunch date and had such a nice time. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Samara was so kind, patient and gave some great recommendations! I got the pernil which comes with white rice, beans and sweet plantain, the pernil was very tender and savory 🤤 My husband got the goat with the same sides and said it was the best he’s ever had. We shared a quipe appetizer and a morir soñando. The morir soñando was so creamy and just the right amount of sweetness Will definitely be going back!

We went to Cafe Nitido for an early dinner and were so glad we did. It is BYOB which is a huge plus. The goat stew was absolutely delicious, rich, tender, and full of flavor. We also enjoyed the mix grill but the goat stew is what I would highly recommend. The quipe appetizer was another pleasant surprise. It is not something I would normally order but my spouse did and I am glad he did because it was so tasty. I have tried a few takeout items before but this was my first dine-in experience and it was even better. We will definitely be back again both to dine in and for takeout especially once the brewery nearby opens.
