Cafe Mambo

Loving the "new" Cafe Mambo, which was revamped in 2024 with an all-new interior and menu. Their kanpachi with Molokai sweet potatoes is a great entree, and I love that they serve Gildas as a nod to Basque Country in Spain. I also had the most amazing hot chocolate chip cookie baked fresh for dessert!

10/10 for me. Cafe mambo is one of my most favorite places to have dinner. Really good atmosphere and the menu is very satisfying. We had the beet salad, broccolini, half chicken, venison bolognese, burrata with sourdough, and tomato salad. I enjoyed everything so much. I will be back!

We had a lovely evening, and loved our pasta! Absolutely stunning restaurant with great vibes. Would definitely recommend getting pasta AND the truffle fries, the portions were normal and prices reasonable.

We ended up here because the restaurant we wanted to eat at was closed for the day due to a water main break. ATMOSPHERE: It's a nonchalant open air older restaurant. The only view is of Baldwin Avenue and people walking by. MENU: Salads, burgers, American entrees, and fajitas. BEVERAGE: Strawberry Daiquiri Very refreshing, nice thickness and not overly sweet. FOOD: Nachos We added kalua pork to the mix. The chips were mainstream but good, and came topped with black beans, jalapeños, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and cheese. The kalua pork had a BBQ flavor and was too sweet, which is a total turn off to me. Had pasta for dinner here. My partner ordered the lemon pasta and I the pesto, both dishes were wonderful. Good flavor, pasta wasn't over cooked, it was served hot and the portions were sizeable. The atmosphere was wonderful, really chill but classy vibe. Service was also good. Would highly recommend!
