Cafe Luna

This will definitely have to be my go to Italian restaurant in New Jersey. Starting off the service was immaculate from the hostess to the bartender to our waiter. Everyone was very pleasant. Next the food was amazing. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The Margherita pizza was a great way to start off our meal and the portions were enough for three. For our entrees we indulged in the restaurants many selective pasta options. I had the rigatoni and it was to die for. I also took dive into the bolognese and carbonara which were also superb. I feel like either option is a hit. Also, I highly suggest reservations because this spot does get busy.

I came here for the first time for dinner on a Saturday night. We made reservations for 6:45pm and I definitely recommend a reservation because this restaurant is popular and I saw plenty of people waiting to get seated. Also from my observation there is no waiting area. There was a crowd of people standing around waiting to be seated. Even with reservations, there was a slight wait, but the hostess told us that we could wait at the bar which we did. While at the bar, I decided to grab a cocktail. I got a cocktail called Hugo which was a muddled and cucumber cocktail with lime Hendricks gin, St Germaine , prosecco, and a splash of soda/ Mint. We live in Manalapan so we are local. Tonight was our first time there & it surpassed our expectations. From the minute we walked in Giana held the door for us, greeted us with a warm hello & was so super sweet! Sammy was our waiter & he was amazing .. sooo friendly & so attentive. I would def request him the next time we’re there. All of our food was fresh & delicious! It was my mother’s birthday & they brought out a lovely dessert & sang HB to her :) So nice! The restaurant is beautiful, clean & just a great vibe! I highly recommend.

This was our first time here and it blew us away! Not only was the food delicious, the service was amazing! Everyone who waited on us seemed genuinely interested in us having a wonderful evening. And the food was so good! My husband ordered the pork chops (they were so tender!) and I ordered the chicken rollatini, which was also good.

I heard about this place many times but never got a chance to try it until recently! And let me tell you, it was amazing! I think this is one of the best Italian restaurants in the state! My server, Lindsey was super friendly and attentive and made this experience amazing! You have to get their Penne Luna, the baby shrimp in this dish is what makes it stand out! Will definitely be coming back!
