⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) “Warm, welcoming, and easily one of the best breakfast spots in the valley” Café La Tay’s feels like the heartbeat of Clarkston in the morning — that spot where locals gather, coffee flows nonstop, and everyone behind the counter seems genuinely happy to see you walk in. There’s something instantly comforting about it — the smell of fresh coffee, sizzling bacon, and baked goods that actually smell like they came from a real kitchen, not a freezer. I ordered breakfast here and it hit every mark. The portions were generous, the food came out hot, and you could tell it was cooked with care. The eggs were done exactly right (not overcooked, which is rare), the hash browns had the perfect crisp, and the biscuit I added on the side might’ve stolen the show — buttery, flaky, and mad

Inconsistent everytime I have gone. I buy a kids hot chocolate and for some reason they don’t give you stamps on their card for it, even though you’re PURCHASING the drink. Every other coffee stand I have been to in the LC valley gives you stamps for however many drinks you buy regardless of it being a “kids” drink.

Super fast wifi, kind staff and plenty of space to work on your laptop.

Love this coffee spot. The espresso shots are always made well never burnt tasting.

My husband and I bought 4 coffees on Saturday (06/29/2024) for $18.23 including a $5 tip and I have asked nicely to get me a punch card after I paid and etc. They did not give me a punch card and I asked them again about it today, and there like I can't give you a punch card since I'm unsure if your telling the truth! I love the coffee but no longer coming back!
