Cafe Frutta Fresca Gelato

This establishment is a gift to all that visit or taste the treats produced by the owner. She is classically trained Gelato maestro and she is a master of her craft. We have been enjoying her treats for 10 years and e en though we don't live in the area anymore, we still make special trips to visit the shop in Sneads Ferry and even make special arrangement to get our hands on some of that delicious Gelato. Our favorites are Pistachio, Chocolate Hazelnut, Coconut, Chocolate, also Mango Sorbet. In shop, we recommend the chicken and waffles and the macaroons. Crepes are great. She also offers classes for those who want to learn to make pizzas and sorbets.

I have been waiting to go and test the gelato for a while. It was worth the wait! The gelato tastes the way I remember it from Italian ice cream parlors, flavorful and creamy. I had the plum balsamic, and it was great, and of course, the chocolate was equally wonderful. The owner, Lisa, is super hospitable and takes the time to really give you a little insight by sharing her story. Both the owner and the gelateria are worth the visit. See and taste for yourself!

This place got roaches and the owner doesn’t look like she has showered in weeks. Deodorant would likely go a long way, but nothing would help her more than some hot water and dial antibacterial. Wouldn’t recommend eating this mediocre yet over priced food. I was so grossed out by the overall presentation of this establishment that I shouldn’t have even ordered anything. They need to pop on over to the dollar store and buy some fabuloso and bleach to get rid of that moldy mildewy smell.

Nice little place that's just getting off the ground. Location is interesting. Staff was nice and it's the only place around to get stuff like gelato, macarons, and biscotti, which were all excellent! The display case is one of a kind. Didn't try any hot food; not sure if they were serving any at the time.

The blueberry cheesecake was amazing as were all the flavors. This is off the beaten path but worth the trip. The Gelato is made there and they have different flavors that you will not find at most ice cream shops.
