Cafe Bourbon St.

I really wanted to like it, but just didn’t! We visited the Murphy food truck location. From the start, the customer service was lackluster and not pleasant. We still ordered because we heard good things… all to be disappointed with how burnt my catfish was. So burnt, it legit was black. Couldn’t even eat the catfish because it was too burnt. Reached out to the business to get a refund, they took a while but did respond and offered a complimentary plate so that’s good.

One of the best experiences I’ve had in Atlanta was this @cafebourbonst food truck. With my fam being from Louisiana, this was definitely worth experiencing. Jambalaya Egg Rolls were so good, filled with chicken, shrimp, sausage and rice covered in that savory spicy sauce. Goodness gracious. Easily a Top 5 appetizer - 4.5/5 Bourbon St Wings were on point. The flavor was everything, the chicken was juicy and tender while being crispy and crunchy. Fries were also on point, nicely seasoned and fried well - 4/5 The Shrimp Po’ Boy was amazing. Bro, when I say this po’ was on point… The bread was nice and soft, you receive a lot of shrimps and they were cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. This was topped with some of that cafe bourbon sauce… I wish I ordered two - 4.5/5 Original Beignet

I have been coming to Cafe Bourbon St for awhile now and have never been disappointed by the food or the customer service. Since I'm not a seafood eater, I stick to the Bourbon wings and my favorite, the Bourbon ranch fries. And because the Bourbon sauce is so good, I bought a bottle to have at home. The gumbo, when in season, is absolutely delicious. You will love whatever you decide to buy! I love the new location! It has enough parking and is very clean and comfortable. If you're in the area, it's definitely a place you want to put on your list to visit.

I ordered the Bourbon St. Shrimp basket and added ranch on the shrimp. My order was fresh and hot. The overall basket was okay. What would have made it better for my taste buds if the shrimp were covered in the bourbon sauce instead of drizzled on. You will need to purchase a sauce for dipping the fries, which were tasty. There is a sitting area behind the truck consisting of some picnic tables. Ideal for nice weather days. The customer service was 5 star. There was only one person onsite the day I went, and she handled everything smoothly and gave great service. My only other suggestion is to put an "Order Here" sign above the tablet because every first timer who walked up while I was there had to be informed to order on the tablet.

This was my first time trying this amazing food. I loved it all. The sauce is a banger! I love the location for it. It’s open and not too far from the West End. The process to order you food is straightforward. Wait time wasn’t that long. I enjoy the egg rolls a lot. I wish this amazing place was closer to the Southside, however I don’t mind traveling for amazing food that’s feels like the NOLA. Must try again.
