Cafe Bouchee

Happened to be in the area again and decided to try dinner and was impressed. Not only a great spot for lunch... but if you're looking for a great quality dinner after a day of country shopping... Cafe Bouchee has a varied menu each evening with classy offerings and friendly service. I had the filet steak which was perfectly cooked and a generous portion... left very satisfied and stuffed! Previously... Stopped in for lunch after hearing nothing but good things. And I was not disappointed. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich which was one of the specials while my friend had the Blue Cheese burger. Both were freshly prepared and very, very tasty! The service was very friendly and as country as could be. She asked if I wanted to add onions and I said I'd try anything once... yep... the onions

Café Bouchee never disappoints! The shrimp remoulade is perfectly seasoned, the bread pudding is decadent, and the eggplant is full of flavor. Every dish is a delight — highly recommend!

Four of us all ordered something different. I had Fried green tomatoes salad w/remoulade sauce. Salad part was mixed greens and cucumbers. Other meals were a Strawberry salad topped with 6 large coconut battered shrimp, cheeseburger(2 types of cheese, ground sirloin with onion rings, and fried soft-shell crab topped with crawfish Monica and a side salad. Also roasted red pepper soup. All good. Would have gotten a 5 🌟, but some of the salad greens were wilted or past that point. Waitress was advised of that. Very busy neighborhood cafe. Very casual.

Such a nice quant place. I ordered the ribeye medium rare and it was cooked to perfection! The brussels sprouts were one of my sides and I also tried the smashed potatoes. Everything was delicious! I couldn't pass up the recommended bread pudding and it did not disappoint! The service and staff were great and I hope to visit back there to try some more delicious meal choices!

Good food I think it was a Sunday lunch menu perhaps as the entrées came with two sides and a side salad. The food taste really good it came out hot it took a little long to come out but they were really busy I guess people after church eating lunch or just lunching out. We also had the brownie and the crème brûlée crème brûlée it was my favorite it was very good. The only reason for the missing star would be that it took a while for someone to bus the table and clean it off so that we can sit down, then once seated It took at least 10 minutes for someone to get our drink order so we just order food at the same time and was hungry. I would still recommend and come back as the food was really good.
