Cafe 2825

BIRTHDAY DINNER! 8 of us experienced cafe 2825 together this Saturday night. We had a 7pm reservation and were seated right away. Everything was super delicious! We enjoyed table side Cesar salad, table side pasta heated in a cheese wheel, appetizers, entrees and desserts. Some highlights were the hot honey calamari, veal Parmesan Fra Diavlo bolognese, Halibut Orgenato (special) and more. If you have the chance to go for a special dinner, you should. AMAZING food and service!

We recently dined at Cafe 2825 as a group of four for a birthday dinner. Overall, it was a decent experience, though not quite what I expected given how difficult it is to secure a reservation and the level of hype surrounding the restaurant. When I finally got through to make a reservation, I was a bit taken aback by how the conversation began. I was asked whether we were actually coming to dine or just planning to take photos and have drinks, with the concern being that servers wouldn’t make money on a Saturday night. While I understand the intention behind this, it felt like an unexpected first impression for a restaurant of this caliber. Superb spot in AC! I’m originally from the north east but live down south now. On a recent trip home I was craving that authentic Sunday gravy dinner my grandmom used to make. This place nailed it and made my childhood memories a reality. The table side experiences are where it’s at. Fresh mozzarella and Cacio e Pepe is heaven. Main dishes were just perfection! Service is five star. I will be back! It’s hard to get into but worth the patience.

OMG ! If you’re lucky enough to get a seat in this restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Don’t skip on the table-side service. We had the fresh made mozzarella - yes it’s to die for. And we followed that up with q Locatelli cheese wheel table-side pasta service. Add in a Sunday gravy entree and life is good.

Food off the hook Ginny the maitre d/owner, was friendly & more than helpful. Service & drinks were the best! If you go you know $$$ I will return every year, if I can get a reservation.
