Literally the best country fried steak I’ve ever had! I was in town for the total eclipse, and I just wanted some down home comfort food. This place delivers and more! The atmosphere is just so comforting and warm and perfect. They only serve country fried steak and mashed potatoes on Thursdays, but the lady made exception for me because I was only in town for a short time. She also gave me a sample of her deep fried. Catfish was absolutely amazing! This place is so worth the out of for the best comfort food I have had in years! I only regret that I didn’t get a helping of their coleslaw that was in the refrigerator because it looked delicious.I am quite sure that everything is 100% homemade do not pass by this area without going here! Great place to eat, awesome employees, and inexpensive food that tastes delicious!

The food was good. Fair prices. The star of the show was the waitress. Competent friendly kind of down home attitude. We had a BLT, a Philly steak and the barbecue nachos. They brought a tenderloin instead of the BLT and promptly replaced it. I told you I would take the deal too for my husband. Did not realize until we got home that she didn't charge me for it. Husband loved it great sandwich. Next time we're in there I'll have to pay for it.

We made an order for take out, we got there a little earlier than expected (even though the place wasn’t busy and the employees were just carrying on like they were just hanging out) oh well just “kids right?” Let that go and sat down to wait on our order, not only was I disrespected by the female working she also was very inappropriate with my husband. When I spoke, she ignored me. When I tried to pay, she left me standing at the register while going back and forth and joking around with the younger male employee. She proceeded to give my husband stickers (if I could reply the demeanor in this situation I’m still shocked There is a huge difference in being nice and how this girl acted and portrayed herself. The food was very good and reasonable. There were only 3 younger people working and they all did a great job. We hadn’t eaten there in awhile, but will definitely be back soon!
