I can’t believe I’ve not left a review of this place as we’ve RAVED about it to so many people, so here goes. Come here! Eat here! Pick anything, you’ll be back and you’ll also tell people to do the same. This is also this California girl’s 1st time trying hush puppies…if you don’t already know this, put some butter on those babies and sit back and enjoy your life💕

Makes you feel at home when you walk in. Amazing BBQ and sides.The owner is the friendliest person. She came to our table to make sure everything was good. Everyone is so nice who works here. I would highly recommend eating here. I give them 10/10…..

I was a disappointed by the food as the reviews were very positive. My bbq chicken was chalky feeling in the mouth (indication of being over cooked), my brisket although flavorful was wayyyyy too salty! Every bite I had to chuck water behind. And the ribs were nothing special but tender. I'm hoping it was just a bad day and bad luck..... but it was a bad first impression for me. On the other hand the location is warm and inviting, and customer service was friendly. Big fan of the hushpuppies!

Really good barbecue joint that you need to try next time you're in or around Durham, NC. The sides are just as good as the meats! And the desserts don't miss either.
