Byers Butterflake Bakery

Was looking for a cake on July 3rd for a graduation party on the 4th. Every other bakery shops had nothing to offer, called Byers and they were like 'come to the shop we'll fix you something'..... and they did! The cake was great at a very reasonable price. Their shop is clean and customer service is top notch. Byers is my new cake shop now!

A great bakery with great people. Just ordered a carrot cake with custom design. Cake was beautiful, dense, moist, with exceptional cream cheese frosting.

Bought this cake last-minute Fri 11/14/25. I have enjoyed baked goods from here before so I was confident I would get an excellent red velvet cake (fiance's request for his birthday). I went in early AM to have a good selection, was not disappointed. Chose the cake and asked them to put "HB Chuck" on top, she did so in a few mins. We did not cut and eat the cake until Sunday evening. The cake was fresh and delicious! They sell donuts, cookies, cupcakes and everything looks beautiful. The bakery smells like heaven should! Willow Valley used to be our family bakery of choice and their red velvet cake was to die for! WV closed years ago and this has been my go-to bakery ever since. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

Ordered a special cake and they did not disappoint. Would definitely use them again.

While I enjoyed the idea of the garlic and cheddar cheese bread it was cross contaminated with cinnamon or raisin type flavor which made it bad for meat sandwiches etc.
