Achenbach's Pastries, Inc

Cool bakery with delicious goods. They are known for their Long John. We bought a peach pie, peach donut and we also tried the Long John. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. They have a few parking spots in front. I recommend going early if you want a bigger selection.

We were next door so we thought we would walk over. A sweet (ha!) little place with quite a wide variety of baked goods - some things only available on certain days (filled long johns) or in seasons (mince meat). Orange Cranberry Muffin was really tasty! Long john was.....not bad...but - not sure why it is ranked so high (not filled) Filled donut - eh. it dried out fast (ok - my fault for not eating it right away) had the old skool flavor - but....very skimpy on the white filling - actually couldn't tell the flavor of the white fluff. The choc. on top was great. prices are just right.

We love this place! When you go in, you can't just buy one thing! They are famous for their Long John donuts, but they also have a big selection of other delicious desserts and treats. Definitely recommend checking this out if you're in the area - it's a cute little shop with reasonable prices and won't disappoint!

Probably the best pastry shop in the state. I live a couple hours away, but sometimes work in the area, if I'm close enough I always stop by, and grab some Long Johns, and a pie, or cake of some kind. Best Dutch Cherry/Cherry Crumb Pie I've ever had.

Achenbach has been a staple in our house since I can remember. The vanilla Long John's will always be my favorite donut until the day I die. No matter what part of the world or what part of the United States I have traveled to, I NEVER had a better donut than the one from Achenbach Bakery. Don't forget about their cakes. Their pastries are the most phenomenal I have ever had, and I have never met who disagreed after they had one! Keep up the great work!!. You literally have the best donuts in the world!
