A cafe that packs a punch, small but mighty. This Mediterranean cafe has fresh and flavorful Mediterranean cuisine. The gyro bowl is certainly the way to go for your first time, second time or every time. The value and quality ranks top in the 315 area. This time I went with the Meat Sampler for two which carried a price tag of $29.99. I was excited to fill my belly with all the flavors of the Mediterranean. The side salad was fresh, hummus was delicious and the falafel was crisp. Well cooked and a plethora of food, although this couldn’t feed two I was left wanting more. Great flavors but not enough value for me to recommend the meat sampler for two to someone with a big appetite. The gyro bowl is the tried and true winner where quality meets the quantity sweet spot. If you’re really st
The restaurant may be small, but the food is excellent! Downtown Syracuse is not a very busy city. The owner goes out of their way to ensure your meal is the best. It's a truly family-owned business.
Everything is house made. The owner was behind the counter and gave us excellent personal service. The house made dressing on the salads was superlative. I would highly recommend this place!
Easy to order online and then pickup when ready. Spinach pies were huge, but were more like spanakopita, than the spinach pies with dough that I was expecting. There are 2 spanakopita pieces in each order, which I didn't know, and ordered 3 orders (got 6 spanakopita's which I shared w/ co-workers). Tabouli was DELICIOUS.
The Falafel is probably the best thing here, but it has this overwhelming bitter undertone that really takes away from the dish. The Sauce used on the Gyro has Mint in it, which is mistake and should be noted on the menu. The fries and the meat pies really made the trip worth it. I will be shaky about taking another req from Guy Fieri
