By the Waves

Staying here for Thanksgiving 🦃🍁.so close to beach. Good storm. Area is nice when not stormy too. I always enjoy this part of Oregon and might have found my staying place.

Our room, like all the rooms at By The Waves, had a full ocean view through the picture window. And it’s only 30 seconds to the sand and the beautiful broad beach that stretches for miles. Our room was as neat as a pin and sparkling clean, but the style is more like shabby chic and it’s definitely not the cold and antiseptic cleanliness of a four star hotel resort. The style of decoration of our room said we are at the beach and we are so happy to be at our seaside getaway on the edge of the ocean. Our stay at this beautiful and friendly place made us feel like we owned our own little beach getaway and we felt so fortunate.

A beach house that will make you feel like you’re staying at your grandparents. We stayed in Suite 2 and loved everything about it. It is worth noting there are only full size beds in both rooms, so be prepared for a smaller bed. The jetted tub is marvelous. The kitchen is fully equipped including spices, tin foil, cooking utensils, etc. so you don’t have to buy those items. Connie (owner) was extremely nice and helped me with a lock out issue (my own fault). Overall we loved staying here and it felt like home away from home.

We had a great vacation here at By the Waves. We had the first floor section, which had a wonderful view of the waves across the street. It was fun watching the surfers everyday. The hot tub was awesome, especially since it was below freezing at night! We even got to bring our dog, who loved the long walks on the beach and curling up in front of the gas fireplace at night. Carpet was a worn, but everything felt clean and nice. We would definitely look forward to coming back!

This is the perfect place to spend a few days at the beach. The location is awesome. Literally walk out to the beach from your room. The ocean sound is prevalent the whole time and the little gas fireplaces are a very creative and cozy way to heat the room. It also has a full kitchen minus an oven. We stayed in suite 4 and had pretty much everything we needed to make a few meals. There is also a generous amount of storage area for your stuff. We will be staying here again in the future. Very satisfied with our stay.
