The potato buns are to die for.... they took me back to my childhood. They were definitely worth the line. I personally am not a fan of anise cookies but my mom loved them. The service was great, I wish they were open more..
The Buttonwood Bakery is a Mecca of incredibly delicious PA delights for our family. The Poppy Seed and Nut rolls are so good I could weep, as we are all in the South now. I always stock up and freeze extras any time l'm lucky enough to be back in PA., as these exquisite rolls are worth their weight in gold!
Arrived at 10:50 Monday morning and the website says it’s open but it’s closed. Doors locked one car in lot and no service.
Came the day after Christmas during normal hours and was not open even though the sign said it was open from the road flashing open so instead had to go to sanitary bakery which I was thankful that they had what I was looking for.
