Bushfire Kitchen - Menifee

Located on Haun & Newport Roads in the 'Countryside Marketplace' near the Breakfast Club, with plenty of parking. There's inside and outside seating. We stopped here for lunch hoping for a great meal. While I loved the location and the spacious, clean atmosphere, the food was a mixed bag. We started with a 'Beef Empanada', which was excellent. However, I regretted switching from a burger to the 'Chimichurri Tri-Tip Plate'. The meat was bland and too pink for my liking, but the sides were the real issue: the mashed potatoes had an odd, burnt-rubber scent and a hard consistency, while the mac n cheese and bread were both too hard to enjoy (a disappointing menu choice for sure). So disappointed, placed an order by phone told me it would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later. Told me food wasn’t ready. I waited another 30 minutes just to find out this whole time. My food was sitting there ready getting cold. The guy who rang me u, Just smiled and ignored me When I told him this whole time, my food was sitting there ! On top of that they stacked my bowl on top of my plate. The plate was fully smashed. I let A different cashier in front know about the situation and she seemed like she didn’t care. And she didn’t offer me anything. I’m so upset I didn’t even eat the food $70 to the trash. Seems like certain people were getting better service, racial profiling!!

This place is an absolute gem! The food is top-notch, the drinks (both sodas and cocktails) are spot-on, and the service is just as impressive. We were genuinely blown away by how nice this restaurant is—it’s the kind of place you immediately want to add to your regular rotation. The chimichurri takes the tri tip to the next level—pure perfection!

Cute little place. We made a pit stop for lunch when visiting friends in Menifee. The layout is similar to a Pick up Stix or Phil’s BBQ in that you get in a line to order, receive a number, grab a table and it’s delivered to you. Take a look at the online menu so you’re prepared to order. We got the mom’s Mac-n-cheese, Spicy Tennessee Chicken sandwich and cage-free Chicken Bowl over brown rice and grilled veggies. I like my Mac-n-cheese a little on the al dente side and this version was very soft but the flavor was really good. The spicy Tennessee chicken sandwich had good flavor and the cage free chicken bowl was a great, healthy option. Atmosphere is casual and cute with both booth and family style table options. I had the Greek salad with a friend. My first salad was wilted, so I had to return it. The silverware wasn’t the cleanest. However, the service was great and the atmosphere was cute. I probably will not return to this establishment.
