Burrito Express

They refused to just leave cheese out of a bean burrito, even though they were actively making them and I was happy to pay full price. It's ridiculous they don't have just a plain bean burrito on their menu, if they're going to be so rigid that they're unwilling to omit a single ingredient. I'd understand not doing substitutions and add-ons, but omitting an ingredient hurts no one and only saves their business money.

I’m giving Burrito Express four stars, but I’m sad & disappointed at what it’s become. I used to live near the original location, and when I saw they were building one in San Tan/Queen Creek, I was genuinely excited. The burritos used to be HUGE, now they cost about $3 more and are half the size. The steak burrito I had today was good though, but it doesn’t have the same heart and love in it that it used to have. Burrito Express is now just a streamlined gas station BASIC mexican spot. BUMMER! I’ll still come back if I need a quick breakfast on the go, but there are other spots nearby, like Jalapeño’s Restaurant, that are doing it better and I'm willing to wait longer for a decent burrito.

Food is super too salty. No custom order just premade burritos. They lost a customer.

No thanks! So I tried the almost $8 Steak potato and cheese burrito to see what they hype is all about. The burrito had a good taste, but the texture of the tortilla was too thick, tough to chew, and a little dry. I tried both red and green salsa and preffered the green. Was a big let down.

Would give less stars if I could. No custom orders, burritos are made and stuffed under a warmer, they arent as good of quality as the brand usually has. Id be EXTREMELY embarrassed if I was the owner of this brand, this is a pathetic attempt at expansion and has caused me to look elsewhere now not only near my house, but at work where I frequented your tempe location.
