Burney's Sweets & More

I didn't realize this was a chain when I stopped in for a snack during my quest to visit all 100 counties. They were a bit busy but it didn't take too long to get my snacks to go. I didn't try the ice cream or hot food but looked like some good options. Cute downtown and lots of seating in the common area. Prices were good and the cookie sandwich was very nice. The peanut butter brownie I had later was also pretty solid, although DENSE, definitely one to share!

In such short notice, they helped to put a menu together and catered my wedding. They brought it out to the venue and set everything up beautifully. All of the food and the sweets were so amazing and we absolutely loved our wedding cake! Would recommend to anybody. Such amazing people!

Service was okay. Not quite as friendly and helpful as a southern bakery should be. But the desserts were really fresh and delicous!! Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for and these are some delicious desserts. The plain frosted crousants are a must try! Has a nice place to sit inside to enjoy with free outdoor parking. Bathrooms are in the building as well.

Ok, I saw a bakery and had to stop in. They had a wide variety of baked goods but mostly croissants. Smores, maple bacon, cinnamon sugar, chocolate strawberry, and so many other flavors to choose from! I got a box of 12 for everyone to pick 3 flavors each they wanted to try. The croissants were nice and flakey, and the flavors were not overpowering. I was so sad when I ran out! I cannot wait to see another Burneys so I can stop in and grab some more delicious treats!
