Burn Wood Fired Pizza

***UPDATE*** My wife and I came back to town with the kids this time. We had to come back to Burn. The food again was fantastic. Pizza is really good. My son had grilled chicken with potatoes and the potatoes were really good. Burn is a fantastic place. ***Original Review*** Came here on Saturday night around 7pm. We were essentially the only 2 customers. That didn't stop our server from giving us the royal treatment. He did explain that they get busy on the nice days a little later as people are outside enjoying the beach and the weather. Business did pick up while we were eating and later on looked busy when we drove by again. We ordered personal pizzas for dinner. My wife got the plain pizza and I got the sweet birn pizza. The food was fresh and the service was great. I bet on weekends they have music due to the large stage in the other room. Lots of original art for sale on the walls.

Out-of-towners (Texans) looking for good east coast pizza, we gave Burn Wood Fired Pizza a try in May of 2025. It was the week before Memorial Day weekend so the crowds hadn't quite kicked in yet, and it was the middle of the afternoon on a rainy day, so not many customers at all. We were very pleased with the pizza and service. The crust was a bit over cooked on part of our pizza. Not cool. Affects the taste too. A bit pricey, but we expected that in a tourist area. Did seem like they had enough parking spots for the number of tables inside.

I recently ordered two pizzas for takeout from Burn, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! I went with a traditional Margherita and a plain cheese pizza, and both were absolutely delicious. The wood-fired crust was perfectly crispy yet chewy, with a subtle smoky flavor that elevated the whole experience. The Margherita had just the right balance of fresh mozzarella, fresh cherry tomatoes, basil, and olive oil, while the plain cheese was rich, and just what you want from a classic pizza. The customer service was excellent, too. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made sure everything was ready on time. It’s clear they care about their food and their customers. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for top-notch wood-fired pizza! Prices were decent.
