I acknowledge that every library has its own rules and regulations. However, I was taken aback by a recent incident. I briefly left my belongings, including my bag and drinks, in a spot to move to another room because the area was too crowded. When I returned, I discovered that a staff member had taken my bag and disposed of my beverages without any prior notice or warning. It was incredibly shocking and disconcerting. There was no announcement or indication that this would happen. Instead, it felt like a stern warning, with my bag placed on the floor and my drinks discarded. While I understand there are rules in place, this experience left me feeling both surprised and frustrated.
