Burgerville

A very bright and clean place with helpful and friendly staff. The milkshakes are the very best, the burgers are excellent. However the fish and chips is flat, dry, and tasteless except for the tartar sauce.

We were driving through The Dalles on a road trip and were excited to go to Burgerville. Although I've been to Burgerville before, there are some things I wish I would have known/remembered: 1. The posted combo price is for a small size, with small fries and a small fountain drink. 2. If asked to choose between fries and onion rings - the onion rings are HUGE, a bit too salty and costly. We still don't know how much they cost. 4. The cost of items is not clear: it is especially vague on the receipt. 5. If you want a straw or spoon to eat your milkshake with, ask. They will not give you anything to eat/drink with. Thankfully I had a fork in my car. 😁 Remember to ask for sauce for your massive onion rings.

I loved the 50's decor. You order and pay for your meal and they bring it to your table. There's a Drive up window too. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries and the burger was typical of what a burger place would have.

Went here on our way through town from the Portland area to the Spokane area. We went through the drive-thru. Upon receiving our order we realized that they had given us a different sandwich than we had ordered. My wife went in to talk to the staff. The staff was apologetic and remade the correct sandwich. They also offered a shake of any size and flavor of our choice, for the inconvenience. They told us to keep the incorrect sandwich because they would just throw it away. Overall very happy with our experience, and I'm sure we'll be stopping here again in the future on our trips through town.

For a fast food place the vegan options are great. All the shakes and deserts can be made with coconut base …so they are plant based. I’ve been twice now!
