Im new to the area and just by chance stopped by this place. Im glad I did, the food is amazing. I ordered the double cheeseburger, onion rings and a hot dog. All of it was good and the wait time was reasonable. The places atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely coming back for dinner

With being local now for 4 years I've witnessed staff change and not all for the better but it's improving and that understandable. The food is good and I love the flounder fish sandwich, that's a favorite of mine. So if you want it for breakfast get it or if you want it for lunch/ dinner get it.

Food was not very good. The burgers, which we had high hopes for, had no seasoning. No salt or pepper. The fries and the pecan pie were just frozen or store bought. There was nothing that was good, just ok. Then I couldn't hear my number being called and they were so rude when bringing it to me. I apologized for not hearing my number.

My last trip there, stop every week, waited for 10 minutes them looking at me and not taking order or saying anything, poor service, called them back to let them know what happened, girl said sorry and hung up on me.

Burger Shack of Mount Gilead has the same exact 💯 recipe for hotdogs that Sandy Bogen used for years at Lefler's Place in Pee Dee. Long live Sandy's famous hotdogs!
