Burger King

This 5 star rating is mainly for the manager, Amanda. She handled my food complaint (hair within my food) with great profession, courtesy, and kindness. I was quickly refunded for my meal after she expressed her deepest apologies and was told to return at my earliest convenience. Management of this level is rare these days so I salute her for operating at such a 5-Star level.

It was early morning. I was driving from Wisconsin to Florida. I had a dog and cat in the car. I got off the interstate to get gas. Pulled into the first one. Filled up. Then realized there is no quickie mart for coffee or restroom. Pulled out of the gas station into the next driveway which was Burger King. Alex the host. Was very gracious and pleasant. In my caffeine deprived state with 2 animals in the car. I had to have him repeat the questions. Granted their not difficult. But I really appreciated his good humor!

Went to the location on November 16, 2025 at 11:23 PM. Went to the entry doors, watched three employees stare at me, they gave no indication of whether they were open. The two female employees were sitting at a table in the middle of the restaurant and the third employee that I could see, a male, was standing talking with them. Absolutely no concern or motivation to serve a customer. Went to the drive-through, asked if they were open and the girl said, "we close in five minutes." Went to Taco Bell down the street to spend my money. Burger King has been declining for years and locations like this are sadly very common. The girl at Taco Bell was friendly and professional.

Staff did not know menu. Waited over 10 min. for food as take out. Out of Mayo. Only 1 person making food, 1 taking drive through orders, 1 taking walk in orders and 1 trying to help direct/assist. Person prepping food had lots of questions about orders...Drive through person did have positive attitude, but not the other resources to keep things moving.

Burger King y'all might as well just take chicken off the menu if you're going to serve people stuff like this. The royal crispy I just got was like trying to chew a rubber glove. I have no idea how or why the chicken would even have a texture like that, but, like a rubber glove, it was entirely inedible. This has happened more that once.
