Bumpers Drive-In of America

Wow! Traveling to Alabama with the hubby and stopped by Vicksburg for a quick food grab and stumbled upon this gem at almost 10pm! It is in an old sonic and sells American food like a sonic but the prices are way better even though there isn't a huge selection. The food got out pretty fast too! And the food itself was great! I had the double burger and Cajun fries and the hubby got the Philly cheese steak. The burger was surprisingly not small and was super fire and the meal was 6.99!!

Super nice fast food place. Fed my family with burgers, fries and soft drinks for $24. They even gave us some funnel cake fries as a free desert.

Hubby and SIL went to grab food for 7 of us. One item forgotten, 2 items cold, no sauce offered for chicken dinner, and no napkins with this huge order. Not impressed. When we travel we prefer to eat local not chains. This one was a bit of a letdown. Pictured is my own chicken dinner that was satisfactory.

This establishment is fashioned after a major nationwide fast food chain, but with a much smaller menu. I had the chili/cheese footlong hotdog. The only part of it that was a full foot long was the container it came in. Flavor was good. Our server was polite and professional. I will probably eat there again.

My mom and I stopped in at Bumpers last night, and the food was great!!! The customer service was also great, the man read back our order to us to make sure they got us the right food, and the right food they gave us. We had burgers that were just out of this world, along with Cajun fries and fried pickles, we even put the fried pickles on our burgers!!! The atmosphere was great as well, we ate here at dusk as the sun was setting, so that made for a great backdrop for dinner. It is also great that this restaurant is along the way to New Orleans, so if I ever go to New Orleans, on the way I could stop here for lunch. Either way, I highly recommend this place. 5 Stars
