Buffalo Lodge of Bigfork

We spent two nights and loved it! Rob the owner was awesome from the minute we checked in. His bar and wait staff are top notch and very friendly, food was great we ate dinner there both nights. We enjoyed bingo and karaoke! My opinion the rooms were very nice. Everything you need was available. We are no frills travelers as long as the room is clean and comfortable we are good. No complaints at all.

On my honeymoon with my wife and we decided to stay here on a whim. We've stayed in 4 hotels so far and 2 were bad. Decided to give this one a shot and we were not disappointed! The room is very unique with a cabin type feel. The fireplace is a great touch! The shower and bathroom are great! Bed is nice and comfy as well. Only complaint there is maybe the pillows need to be replaced. Theres only a few rooms here so you dont have to be worried about a ton of loud guest. Theres a bar and restaurant upstairs which was very convenient. Really what did it was Kendall, the gal that greeted us. She very friendly and bubbly. My wife liked her a lot. My husband and I stayed at Buffalo Lodge after our trip through Glacier National Park. We were traveling with our dog and they were extremely accommodating even leaving 2 dog biscuits in the room for our dog ❤️. We didn’t have plans for dinner so we stayed at the lodge and ate. We got a very good recommendation from the bartender to order the jalepeno burger with a side of bacon jam. Delish! We even made friends with some of the staff. They were so friendly and had so many good recommendations for things to do in the area. I also need to mention how insanely comfortable the bed was. We have been staying at a lot of different hotels on our trip and this bed was the ONLY bed that did not make my back hurt 10/10. Also, our room was extremely spacious and so clean! Room was under bar/casino. Ear plugs were provided but didn't cover the foot steps above our heads. Lots of flies in the room. |Room was large with refrigerator and microwave.|Beds were horrible-so soft you could barely rollover let alone get out of them.|Way over priced for what we got.

Ask to see the room before you sign. They have strict no refund policy. Rooms are below a bar & grill. Very rustic. Doors to your room are hard to close. We wouldn’t dare leave are luggage in the room or in our car outside. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.
