Buck's Cup of Joe

I stopped in for a latte and was welcomed by two very friendly ladies. The latte was great and they have a variety homemade desserts! There is a small seating area that would be good for remote work or a small group event. Overall good experience and would recommend to a friend.

My friend that works in the Lufkin area showed me this coffee shop. Apparently it’s the go to place for coffee among his coworkers. The exterior looks like any other storefront in Texas but the inside is cozy and welcoming. In line with my tradition of trying new coffee locations, I got a Dirty Chai Latte with Oatmilk. The chai leaned more toward the spice side of the chai spectrum over the sweet and didn’t taste homemade. The service was alright, not amazing. All-in-all I would definitely recommend checking them out!

Very disappointing experience I’ve been to Buck’s Cup of Joe a couple of times now, and both times the OWNER herself has been extremely rude. My most recent visit was the last straw. My card was locked at first, so it declined twice, but on the third try it said the payment went through. When I showed the owner the confirmation, she came to the window loudly insisting they didn’t receive the payment and wouldn’t even let me finish explaining. I tried to stay calm and told her there was no need for an attitude — I was just showing proof of payment. She kept arguing and was honestly very unprofessional. Then she walked off and yelled from the back, saying someone else had “blessed” us and paid for the coffee — but in a way that felt more sarcastic than kind. The whole thing was uncomfortabl

The food and coffee was AMAZING the other day! But the young lady at the counter was extremely rude, obviously annoyed by my presence, I said "hello, how are you!" because she just kept staring at me. The menu was confusing, I wasn't sure what was on what, I do wish there was some clarification if your employees are annoyed by questions. It made me feel pretty uncomfortable and unwelcomed.. Just felt embarrassed for saying anything at all. I won't be back but I wish you guys the best.

Great coffee! Thank you! Update to my review... Great service and the coffee is awesome but the food is about typical for east Texas, Just Bad, fake plastic food!!! I know you can do better?? American cheese is not cheese and I'm not sure what the thing is that looks like it could be an egg??? But I put it in the trash. Do it right or don't do it at all!
