Awesome California BBQ! Great sauce options. Much better taste, meat quality, meat cut, quantity and better value than Lucilles BBQ! Full bar available. Tri-Tip Buck 6 oz had plenty of meat on a nice crunchy long mild garlic roll. Meat quality and cut was excellent and much better than Lucilles! If you want great BBQ, come here or Buckhorn Folsom, dont be disappointed with Lucilles unfortunate consistent lack of quality and reduced value.

Buckhorn BBQ + Grill in Rocklin is easily one of the best BBQ spots in town. I stopped in for lunch and was impressed with how quickly the food came out and how friendly the staff was. The Buckhorn Burger was fantastic—juicy, flavorful, and great value for the price. The restaurant has a cozy, local feel with a comfortable dine-in atmosphere. Conveniently located off Sierra College Blvd near Sierra College, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxing meal in Rocklin.

We ordered the Big Beef Sandwich with mushrooms and a half slab of ribs, served with fries and coleslaw. The sandwich was underwhelming - mushrooms were barely detectable, and the beef lacked flavor. The ribs, while nicely seasoned, were tough to cut and overly chewy. By the time I managed to separate them, they had cooled to room temperature. On a brighter note, the coleslaw was fresh and delicious, offering a crisp contrast to the heavier items.

No, this isn't an employee or freind doing a random 5 star review. This establishment is clean, organized and very professional. The meat is delicious and cooked exactly to your liking. Apple slaw is to die for, so is the tri tip, garlic mashed potatoes, fried pickles, everything was awesome! So is the price! 60 bucks for a family of 3 these days?! That's unheard of! Highly recommend!

I had the full rack of ribs with mac & cheese, garlic seasoned mashed potatoes, and beans—and everything was absolutely delicious! The ribs were perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with smoky flavor. The sides were just as impressive—the mac & cheese was creamy, the mashed potatoes were rich with just the right amount of garlic, and the beans had great seasoning. Amazing food, generous portions, and great service. I’ll definitely be coming back!
