What a great restaurant to open up! Tamba and the others do their part to make you feel welcome, and it is very clean. As others have mentioned the hibiscus drink is so delicious! I have tried the fish shawarma, which I was a bit curious about. It was SO GOOD! Very refreshing. And the fries are so tasty. I think he said they boil the potatoes before frying them. I have had two varieties of the stew, the vegetable and the jungle beans. Honestly, there's so much flavor to the stews. Both were very warm, and perfect for a cool evening. The cheeseburger was cooked perfectly. Thick but still juicy! Just the right amount of cheese to allow all the flavors to remain center stage. A large bun to hold it all together. This was one of the most tasteful and flavorful places I’ve been to in a long time. The hibiscus tea was amazing just a little to sweet but I definitely recommend it. The food tastes amazing we ordered a breakfast burrito, onion rings, a afro-burger with fries. The onion rings were great and the ranch with dill for the dip was a perfect match. The burger was amazing everything was wonderful. The afro sauce is to die for it’s their take on a teriyaki sauce. The potatoes that they have are amazing the fries were so good, and the quality of the burger patty was crazy and it was so juicy plus it’s super thick I got the double patty but next time only getting 1 for sure. The owner is an amazing guy you can tell he really takes pride in his business. This is definitely a go to spot from now on.

Authentically enthusiastic staff and the food matches the energy. Popping with flavor, variety, and color. The food tastes as good as it is beautiful. The service was genuine from the moment I walked into the door through my to-go box. I got the fried okra and the beef shawarma Afro style. Highly recommend! If you want a place to put a smile on your face or you need to feel a warm welcome, this place is a fantastic addition to the Sacramento food scene.

The food here was really good! Try the Hibiscus drink they have there it's amazing. I ordered a Chicken Schwarma with Basmati Rice. I like that they have different sides like Basmati Rice, Jasmine Rice and Couscous. The staff is friendly and they follow social distancing rules. There is outdoor seating. This place is located on Watt Ave. next door to Subway. May 26, 2021 I came here for lunch and I ordered a Makona Chicken Sandwich. It came with fries and a couple of dipping sauces. The sandwich had great flavor. The bottom of the bun was gooey on one half of the sandwich, (I have a thing about wet bread) anywhooo, I ate the sandwich and fries and was.pretty satisfied. The prices are really reasonable too.

Wow! This place feels like home! Food felt like it was cooked with great love! Right when we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed! I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was absolutely amazing!! The sauce made it even better, I had to ask for another cup of the sauce! The potatoes were very good, they were a little crunchy and flavorful on the outside but nice soft on the inside. My significant other got pancakes and eggs and the pancakes were sooo fluffy and delicious! The food here tasted amazing. I will definitely be coming back!
