I usually don’t read reviews before I write mine, as I keep my reviews about the food. I try not to let other’s opinions or past experiences cloud mine. That being said I ordered a chicken swarma box delivered. Packaged beautifully, with ketchup & napkins. Fries arrived hot, well seasoned & plenty. Pita was made with pride, stuffed so good when I began to un wrap it, it started to make noise from the pressure being released. Chicken was cooked just like it is at every other location I’ve had it from. Love the garlic sauce, fresh romaine. Pita was fresh, it got hard to put the pita down & admit I was full. I couldn’t find anything wrong with my experience today and thank you for supplying lunch during the Michigan Ohio State hame at the big house.

At first I was thrilled by the presentation. But as soon as I started to eat the lamb shawarma stick it was like chewing on leather and gristle. I guess that’s what you get with low prices. I began to read the 1 star reviews. I can agree with all the one star reviews. The chicken in the hummus is extremely salty. So bad I couldn’t get the taste out of my mouth. Chicken was also 100% precooked. It was cold like it came out of the frig. The garlic spread was amazing. I’d like to try the other location in Detroit. I’ve heard that place is amazing. Personally wouldn’t order from here again. Being a franchise, you think that they would all be consistent.

I’ve been multiple times to this location, along with the SCS location since first tasting the food at the original Columbia St location in Detroit. I’m leaving this because when picking up, my online order had not been made, though I received a notification that it was ready. A guy that was working (not sure if he was a manager, but took care of business) came up and asked about the issue, then got my order fired. It took an extra 17 minutes later than it was supposed to be ready, but the person I was working with was completely honest with the timeline, and gave me fries and a $10 gift card for my inconvenience. I ordered from doordash and was very disappointed. The food is not worth the price. The chicken quesadilla was very dry and there were no veggies inside. Not as advertised!!

My food was supposed to be ready at 7:07 pm it wasn’t actually ready until 7:21, and the communication from the time I arrived to the time I got my food was terrible. Every time I order from this location I swear it will be my last. Every time is a one star experience (either the order is incorrect, the food is late, or both), and if the food wasn’t so good I definitely would’ve given up on the place a long time ago. The owner / manager should be embarrassed the quality of service and the customer experience. I can’t be the only one to voice this concern.
