The Original Pancake House

Wow! The food was amazing. We ordered the Big Apple, the Big German Treat, the Sante Fe Garden, the Bacon Lovers and had coffees and strawberry lemonades to drink. The Big Apple was sweet and delicious. The Big German Treat was lighter and sweet from the strawberry syrup and the Sante Fe Garden was savory. We 110% recommend you try this place...and the Big Apple

I have been coming to pancake House for over 20 years and this is truly a staple in GP. The quality ingredients, friendly staff, and warming, home-like atmosphere, including their insanely delicious hot cocoa, brings back the childhood nostalgia every time! The cherry Kujafa crepes are to-die for, with a side of bacon and hash-browns! Weekends are busy, but it’s worth the wait. Sunday breakfast is always better at Pancake House!

They have great pancakes here and very affordable breakfast prices. I always get the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice which is always good as well. If there’s a line you don’t have have to wait long either. I definitely recommend this place for the pancakes and juice.

Their food has improved in the last year or two. The quality of the food is good the service is average the place is average. Not the least expensive place to go party of four would be about $75 if you get the specialty items

Best breakfast place anywhere. A welcoming gathering place for growing families with kids from birth, through local school years, when they visit from college or as adults living elsewhere. Interesting how some long standing staff recognize them when they visit. The decor is delightfully country, elaborate and changes with the seasons. Staples are the 49ers thin, large pancakes, the big apple and the big German with lemon wedges and powder sugar on top. Although, the big apple takes 20 min to fix, the wait is well worth. It’s hot, sweet, with a ton of apples inside. Great coffee and excellent friendly service. Warning: put enough coins in the parking meters around the restaurant because it’s a ticket hotspot for the local police.
