Bryson City Brewing

My family visits the Nantahala/Bryson City area every year, and this time we stopped by Bryson City Brewery — it was one of the highlights of our trip! We came from Pennsylvania with our two small kids, and everyone had such a great time. From the moment we arrived, Mona, the hostess, made us feel so welcome and helped us get settled right away. And even though Natalia wasn’t our server, she went out of her way to help us reserve one of the fire pits for our family. It made the evening feel extra special — we enjoyed delicious food, great drinks, and a cozy fire that our kids absolutely loved sitting by. The service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was fun and family-friendly. We really appreciated how attentive and kind everyone was. Big thanks to Natalia, Mona, and the entire Bryson

They had just been open a couple weeks when we visited in August 2025, so not quite running at full capacity. We arrived in the afternoon in off-peak hours and had a good time. They have good brews and menu of food. There’s plenty of outdoor seating, an outdoor music venue and bars. Very cool place to visit and will hopefully get better as they get more established.

Five of us went to dinner and it was just OK. The food was way overpriced for what you got. Several of us chose appetizers because main meals were so expensive. The wings were good, but I didn’t like the southwest rolls at all. Others had the burger which again was just OK. It would’ve been better had we gone to the grille where we went for lunch nearby which was delicious and fairly priced. I was just outraged at the comparison. I will never go back. I guess people just like the bar scene because the food is not worth it.

Rode into town and stopped by before being able to check into the Airbnb. Everyone was very nice but Id like to give a shout out to Rachel! She was friendly, attentive, and helped im trying a variety of beers. Before leaving she invited us back the next night for live music. We decided to return and it was such a great vibe and Rachel welcomed us like old friends. Their beer was cold and had variety to try, food was alright, and the band was really good! Only disappointment was they didnt have any shirts to purchase 🤣. Thanks for the warm welcome Rachel!

My family and I vacation a couple of times a year in the Nantahala area, and we always make it a point to visit Bryson City Brewery. We first dined here two years ago and had such a wonderful experience — the food was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Our server at the time, Natalia, made such a great impression that we’ve asked for her every visit since! We stopped by a few times this past week, and once again, Natalia went above and beyond.
