Brophy Bros. Ventura

This was my first time here. Admittedly, the food was pretty good. I honestly would like to have seen more seafood options like scallops and shrimp that didn't come in a pasta dish. The service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was rather comfortable. The salmon was moist and flaky, so I can definitely suggest trying it. The prices were very reasonable and the view was spectacular.

We ordered takeouts from the sister restaurant on the first floor. It’s quite nice, loved the portions. Lots of calamari too. Can even eat nearby and enjoy views of the harbour. Would recommend!

I've been to Brophy Brothers many times in Santa Barbara and great food and service. This time, in Ventura Harbor, it was no different. I had blackened sea bass and my partner had seafood pasta. Both were delicious. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had. This is not a upscale fine dining restaurant. As a consequence it's a bit noisy. If you simply want good fresh seafood, this is the place to go.

This seafood restaurant was absolutely delicious! The clam chowder was creamy and flavorful, the fish and chips were perfectly crispy, and the beer paired really well with everything. I also ordered calamari — it was tender and cooked just right. The complimentary bread was also very tasty. Next time, I’d love to call ahead and reserve a table with a harbor view!

After having the opportunity to eat there with crew and clients we can say that, at least our order of the Scampi ; Depicted; we will be coming back again to try other menu options. The portions were sizeable enough to take some home if you haven't decided to take a beach walk beforehand. The prices are fair assuming you know that you're getting quality grade seafood by the beach; with a stellar view of the harbor we may add.
