Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe

Whether you are stopping for a hot dog w/chili and cheese along with fries or even a burger, don’t forget they serve up a simple menu for breakfast on Saturday & Sundays. This place they serve the food piping hot which we love. Nothing better than HOT chili on a hot dog with all the extras. Or a piping hot breakfast ALWAYS served with a smile. Excellent service!

We always enjoy the food here and I’m not one to complain, but on more than one occasion through the drive thru the gentleman who waited on us had zero customer service, didn’t even speak to me when I said hello and thanked him for our food and I told him to have a great night. No communication at all from him. Very rude. Middle aged man with dark hair and a beard and glasses. Looked like he might be a manager. It’s truly not hard to communicate back to your customers.

Food is ok, but could definitely use some improvements. For starters USE MELTED CHEESE!!! The cold cheese in squirt bottles that they currently use is a huge let down. I grow up with the wonderful East Liverpool Hot Dog Shop that blows this restaurant out of the water. When I order a cheddar dog or a cheddar fry, I expect the cheddar sauce to be warm and melted, not cold from a squeeze bottle. The fries themselves were tasty and crispy. The get your own beverage bar is nice. The dining area was very clean . The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall it is an OK option if you are in Salem,OH.

I posted updated menu items and prices I saw the last good picture of the prices was from 4 years ago. I am a big hot dog fan and these are perfectly good with nothing on them I always feel with food like steaks and burgers and hotdogs the best ones are the ones you don't have to put anything on. In my opinion these hot dogs are amazing and always have been. That was a little bit of a run-on sentence but I use speak to text. I honestly have never had their burgers or the fish sandwich. I am a creature of habit the fair fries are amazing always again the hot dogs are awesome. Chili dogs are wonderful too, the chilly is definitely no slouch!

Prices are great, quality is good and an overall clean environment too! Also, the family bundles are priced very well too. The dining space inside is quite spacious actually and the drive thru seems convenient for people.
