Brick & Bourbon Apple Valley

Really good food and service. Drinks were pretty fancy. However my first whiskey sour i ordered was an orange tint and didnt taste right. Server admitted it was out of some premix which is totally wierd for a whiskey sour. They ended up remaking it by hand it was delicious. So word of advice when ordering whiskey sour to order a hand made one. Other than that the food was really good. Tad on expensive side but thats just how everything is now a days 😪

Me and my husband went to Brick and Bourbon Apple Valley for date night this evening. We arrived at around 4:30pm. The parking lot was about 2/3 full and it was moderately busy. We were welcomed and seated promptly by a friendly host. Our server, Nathan arrived at our table quickly and was very friendly and offered help with any questions we had about the menu. Took our drink order and returned with them. I had a Dragonberry mojito and my husband had the maple smoked old fashioned. Both were delicious and great presentation! We then ordered Dinner. I had the cedar planked stuffed Salmon and he had the Bourbon burger. Outstanding!!! Mind blowing delicious and beautifully plated! We then had another drink. Brick & Bourbon is a great local spot for the suburbs with a huge menu and something for everyone. We had a really good experience, and a big part of that was our waiter Calvin. He took amazing care of us, gave great recommendations, and was consistently attentive without hovering. Seriously great service. It definitely has that busy bar-style vibe, energetic, lively, and usually pretty packed (especially weekends). The space is open and spacious with a mix of booths, tables, and bar seating. One of the highlights is their bourbon flights, which are such a fun way to try a variety without committing to one pour. Definitely recommend doing a flight if you're into bourbon or just curious. I’ll start by saying the service was great! The online waitlist made it easy to get our name down without having to sit at the restaurant. We showed up and were seated immediately. All individuals we interacted with were friendly and professional. My wife ordered a $14 margarita and when she took out the giant ice cube this is what was left (picture attached - crayon for size reference). Two separate individuals (including the manager) confirmed it was less than 4oz. I’m still not exactly sure what the reasoning is for this drink, but a 3oz margarita for $14 is the craziest thing I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant. Everything was phenomenal! The food was fantastic, including the Brisket Mac & Cheese, The Three Wiseman Burger, and the Parmesan garlic fries, all of which were packed full of flavor! Nate was also very friendly and knowledgeable and was happy to provide his recommendations! His service was also quick and he stayed on top of everything! Would highly recommended dining here, as we will be back again!
