Brewed Awakening

New to the area and really wanted to like this place as our new local coffee shop. I appreciated the baked goods display case and variety of drink options, but unfortunately was not expecting my iced latte in a styrofoam cup… tasted watered down and my wife’s coffee was not good either. We were also not informed of our order cost and had to ask. We ended up throwing them out and going to the new Brazilian coffee and bakery across the street, Bacuri, which was much better! Will need to give them another shot and try something different.

I got the pumpkin cream cheese muffin and it was so good, would totally recommend for a nice treat. Very reasonable prices and good service

Ordered a chai latte and didn’t even get to finish telling her what I wanted in it! As I started to say chai latte with…. She walked away from the register to start making it, in which she poured Tazo chai and whole milk into a paper cup, put ice from a paint bucket in the cup and handed it to me. We decided that after seeing this that weren’t going to order anything else. She didn’t even tell us the price and we threw it away after leaving. Would not return

My AirBnB guest, Karen, found this spot and walked here often. She brought me back a muffin to try and it was INCREDIBLE!! You can taste the love!!

Brewed Awakening is a cute and quaint spot with a retro vibe! It’s a great place to study with comfortable seating. My favorites from the menu include the scones, cold brew, and cappuccino. The barista Sylvia is so friendly and provides wonderful service!
