Brewed Awakening Cafe

My wife and I stopped by this morning and met the owners. This morning I ordered the a bagel French toast with egg and apple bacon. It was delicious with every bite. We are from VA outside of Washington DC, Christine and I also enjoyed the sticky bun and Hot coffee.

This quaint coffee shop is the perfect place to get your morning started. Their espresso drinks are creative and tasty! Oatmeal Cream Pie Latte? Shut up and take my money! My hubby and I came through from Ohio on our way to the east coast and let me tell ya, this place is a true gem amongst these hills! Don’t forget to snag a breakfast sandwich!

Brewed Awakening is a quaint spot in the heart of Somerset. My order was a delicious Chai latte with oat milk and homemade everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese! The flavors were delicious and made with love!

I was passing through this little town and was beyond overjoyed to step into this cafe. I walked through the brick arches and into the cafe to be warmly greeted by Logan - the owner. The atmosphere was not what I had expected at all - a blend of antique furniture, fresh flowers, funky mugs, and a lot of love. I ended up spending a few hours in the cafe working. While there I had a mocha latte - a standard measuring tool for me at a new cafe. It lived up to my expectations. The breakfast bagel was delicious. My only wish was that the sausage was a little bigger so that I got a bit in each bite and that the cheese had melted a little more. But, I am splitting hairs - it was delicious. Richly brewed coffee and delicious sandwiches. We were traveling the parkway and stopped in Somerset for lunch. We were delighted to discover that, in addition to coffee and pastries, they offer salads, sandwiches, and other options. The latte was incredibly rich and smooth, not a hint of char or bitterness. The caprese and Mediterranean ciabatta sandwiches were stuffed with fresh flavorful ingredients and toasted to perfection. The staff in this cozy cafe were friendly and helpful, and the food came out quickly. And the prices were super reasonable. Give them a try!
